Dear Diary... I think I've found the cure for all of my anxieties and here's the proof!

Truth is, I know nearly everyone experiences a feeling of overwhelm and confusion, which when put together, can create a feeling of anxiety. I too have felt out of control and even fearful. In these events, to prevent me from spiraling and going further towards the possibility of harm to my body and evade the need for medical intervention, I had to learn that it's in my best interest to get to a state of homeostasis asap! It's time for calm.
Here is my quick exercise that I now swear by, that truly helped me in the past and comforts my future that you can use too, to help bring you back to a well-balanced state (mental, psychological, physical, and emotional pain body) in the present moment no matter where you are in the world.
Truth's Breathwork Exercise
Find a place that you can be alone. Whether a corner, a bathroom, or wherever is safe for you at that time. Get into a sitting position with your feet flat on the floor if seated in a chair or crossed if sitting on the floor. Place your hand on top of your thighs or over your chest near the heart. Allow the body to relax as you now begin to breathe in through your nostrils slowly and steadily. You are now allowing source energy, matter, and oxygen into the nerves of your body. This is the process of inviting air inside of you to soothe worries, fears, disappointments, anger, and loneliness. The air helps you now.
Feel your belly rise with each inhale. Hold for a moment and let the new matter and energy form themselves in your cells. This is the process of oxygenation and regeneration.
Next, in full acceptance of your body feeling full of air (life), slowly breathe out and exhale all of the residual matter from your belly through the mouth, with your lips in a straw-like shape as though you're sucking from a straw. (When breathing out, you may alternate between straw-shaped lips and the mouth open wide, with your jaw relaxed to allow a full release of air from the gut.)
Stay aware of your breathing and decide to go through the process again. Each time, inviting fresh renewed air (life/energy) into your nose, through your throat and lungs, all the way down to your gut. Ease the doubt and exhale again.
After a few cycles of this process, in between your deep breathing breaths, say thank you after each inhale and exhale. Gratitude helps to amplify the power of our breaths and ability to breathe altogether. Keep your eyes closed during this transition of releasing resistance to life. Repeat the exercise as many times as needed to slow down the heart rate and introduce oxygen to your system.
Next, open your eyes and bring your awareness back into the room and simply take note of the physical things around you. Usually, during this time, I feel a little shaken up, but much better physically, stable, and even safe.
TIP
Immediately following the full exercise or before if needed, drink a glass of water. While drinking, continue the feeling of gratitude for your breathwork. Water also has the power to amplify energy.
One Last Truth
Always remember truth works in tandem with the "right now" reality. Often times when I have experienced anxiety, it was in moments of fighting my thoughts with how I truly feel, thinking too much, working too hard to solve a life problem, or even taking an unnecessary mental trip to the past. Whatever the cause, I had to reel myself back to a state of calm, so that I could know that I am, and will continuously be okay to give up the sensation of "control".
I am already inside of my body. My heart is beating... my lungs inflate and my other systems are flowing on. I don't need to keep up the act of trying to do that "to and through" the world around me. We all must live life for ourselves. Every time I leave my perception, my ideas, my knowledge of self and all things I've learned and experienced, and my feelings, it shows me that I am only creating a double life for myself that way.
I was seeing hearing and feeling more "possibilities" than I could handle at that time and it was clouding my ability to really see, know and feel intuitive that everything would be okay. It's always okay in the end, we just get into another world and mix the two. It was me in the present moment going from my current age, all the way back to my infant or adolescent self in my mind in an instant. My body had no choice but to follow suit. I swear, in those moments the only thing I could hold on to was air.
Air became my lifeline and my reminder that no matter what, I don't have to "feel" in control, I just have to trust that I am! If only I keep making the choice to breathe.
Everything will be alright! Trust that you and whatever created you and whatever surrounds you is a true match. Trust that that source is at work for you and available to you always. You're never alone! you're surrounded by air, which is a magical matter. Now relax, stay present and keep choosing to breathe.
Much love (and air) and life to you all who find these words.

*Note*
This is my own personal process and it has not been approved by a "medical professional" and I urge that if you feel unwell, sick, or in pain to go to your medical professional. As well as mentally. If your thoughts are so out of alignment that you need immediate assistance, please do so. This is for those like myself who choose to be sovereign and need help with tools for their personal growth and development. Thank you for understanding.
